KANSAI HELIOS supports global mural project in the Netherlands led by renowned artist Kensuke Miyazaki

KANSAI HELIOS, in close collaboration with KANSAI PAINT Japan, proudly supported the creation of a monumental mural in Delft, the Netherlands, as part of the “Over the Wall” World Mural Project led by Japanese artist Kensuke Miyazaki.
This initiative marked a significant cultural milestone: 425 years of partnership between Japan and the Netherlands. Delft, with its historic ties to the Japanese ceramic city of Arita and its vibrant multicultural community, was chosen as the symbolic location for this artistic celebration. The mural was co-created with local residents, children, and students, reflecting the project’s core values of intercultural dialogue, community engagement, and artistic collaboration. Miyazaki’s work, which has brought colour and connection to communities from Kenya to Ukraine, found its first canvas in Western Europe through this project.
KANSAI HELIOS contributed high-performance paints and technical expertise, based on a relationship with Miyazaki and KANSAI PAINT Group. This collaboration builds on previous joint efforts in Ukraine, Fukuoka Airport, and the Happy Train Project. The completion ceremony, held on August 30, brought together representatives from Japan and the Netherlands, local community members, artists, and partners supporting the initiative – highlighting the shared spirit of collaboration behind the project.
This mural stands as a vibrant symbol of shared history and future collaboration – where art becomes a bridge between cultures, and paint becomes a medium for connection.
