Designing Excellence
As one of the world’s leading industrial coatings companies, we strive to design excellence in all areas of our operations. Throughout our entire value chain, we carefully apply innovative approaches that prioritize safety, efficiency and environmental awareness. By integrating our promise into our corporate culture, we strive to make a positive impact on the world every day, while continuously improving our operational performance.
Our benefits for you
We offer a wide range of services and benefits tailored to the individual needs of local teams – the offer within each company therefore varies. Within the KANSAI HELIOS Group, you will therefore find offerings for health, well-being and community, measures for the safety of our employees, offerings for a better work-life balance and a wide range of internal and external training programs that promote both professional and personal development.

WORK ENVIRONMENT & TEAM SPIRIT
At KANSAI HELIOS, we foster an open and positive communication culture, which is also defined in our core values, where ideas and opinions are expressed and heard. We are convinced that the open, loyal and respectful exchange among the more than 2,000 employees of our international team not only promotes creativity and innovation, but is one of our success factors. With regular local team buildings and activities, we strengthen the team spirit and motivate employees to get actively involved. Additionally, KANSAI HELIOS core values form the foundations of our actions and commit us to the behaviour, that leads to excellence across all business processes every day.

PROFESSIONAL GROWTH
One of our top priorities is to invest in the development of our employees' knowledge and special skills, which is why we focus on fostering their professional and personal development within the KANSAI HELIOS Academy. The training offer include technical content, soft skills and various trainings to promote safety and health. Prospective managers are also prepared in special courses. In addition, we offer knowledge bases in the form of online libraries, tutorial videos and shared platforms, such as Sharepoint. KANSAI HELIOS also offers numerous opportunities for transfers within the group to jobs with different work content.

HEALTH, SAFETY & WELL-BEING
We pay great attention on the safety, health and well-being of our employees and support them through various group-wide and locally organized initiatives and programs under the umbrella of ``Healthy Hero`` and ``Hero for Zero``, adapted to the respective needs within the companies. Some companies offer medical check-ups for eyes, vaccination service or a mental health hotline for employees and their families, at many locations we organize fruit days, participate in the yearly international ``Happiness at Work Week``, organize joint sports activities – also for a good cause, such as the ``Bike at Work`` activity, where the kilometres ridden are converted into donated paints for various institutions. Furthermore we installed green outdoor areas for breaks, where possible, hold ongoing safety workshops and have various documents on safety and fitness in the workplace.

ADDITIONAL BENEFITS & STABILITY
As part of the Japanese Kansai Paint Group, one of the world's largest paint manufacturers, we enjoy the stability and security of an international group of companies focused on sustainable development. At each of our sites, we strive to create additional helpful incentives that bring relief, especially in daily life. The incentives can vary greatly from company to company – sometimes it's bonus cards for discounts at nearby stores, sometimes it's discounted health insurance offers, sometimes it's meal subsidies. The offer and the possibilities are diverse and each company designs its offer individually.

FLEXIBILITY & FAMILY-FRIENDLYNESS
We enable as many employees as possible to work flexitime or flexible working hours and a hybrid working model to better combine work-life – depending, of course, on the respective work area, as this is not possible at each workplace (e.g. R&D, production etc.). At KANSAI HELIOS, we welcome little miracles with a special newborn package for new parents. Flexible re-entry models make it easier for both parents to return to the company after childbirth and parental leave. For the slightly older offspring, we offer in many of our companies a behind-the-scenes look at their parents' workplaces as part of our open days. In addition, we celebrate important events with the little ones – the first day of school, St. Nicholas and much more.

SOCIAL COMMITMENT
We take our responsibility towards society and the environment very seriously and live our ESG strategy in various projects. KANSAI HELIOS is involved in associations, supports various organizations and implements many internal environmentally friendly measures such as car sharing, reduction of paper printouts, elimination of plastic and many more under the umbrella ``We turn it green``. But one of the most beautiful activities is ``Colleagues 4 Colleagues``, a measure initiated by the employees themselves as a way to help colleagues in need. It was already realized in 2014 during the floods in Serbia, in 2021 during the earthquake in Croatia and recently in Ukraine.
