KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performing the duties of an authorised occupational health and safety professional:
- Monitoring the implementation of health and safety measures.
- Establishing and maintaining the occupational health and safety system.
- Preparing professional guidelines and instructions for ensuring safe work practices.
- Conducting employee training on occupational health and safety.
- Preparing documentation for the safety statement and risk assessments and conducting legally required periodic inspections.
- Maintaining and managing required records, statistics, archives, and documentation.
- Performing other tasks within the scope of work, in accordance with the employee’s qualifications and the employer’s instructions
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety, chemistry, or another relevant field.
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Professional certification in occupational health and safety as required by Slovenian legislation.
- Valid driver’s license (Category B).
- Fluent in Slovenian and good written and spoken command of English.
- Good knowledge of MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- Proactive mindset, strong organizational skills, and the ability to assess situations, make decisions, and take responsibility.
- High level of integrity and impartiality.
- Strong communication skills and ability to motivate and work with people.
