Coating system for renovated regional trains in Kyiv

Kyiv Electric Train Repairing Factory is responsible for the renovation of regional trains in Ukraine, helping to extend the service life of rail vehicles used in daily passenger transport. Since 2020, KANSAI HELIOS has supported this project with a reliable coating system designed to provide durable surface protection and a high-quality finish for refurbished train exteriors.

More than 30 regional trains have already been repainted using the our railway coating system, consisting  a one-component epoxy-alkyd primer, followed by a one-component monolayer . This combination ensures strong adhesion, robust protection, and a uniform surface appearance suitable for demanding railway applications.

The project demonstrates how proven coating technologies can support efficient refurbishment processes while contributing to the long-term durability and visual renewal of regional rail transport.
