Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Professional implementation of development activities.
  • Preparation and maintenance of master data.
  • Organization and maintenance of prescribed records, statistics, archives, and work documentation.
  • Research and development of bio-based polymer resins for coatings within doctoral studies (3rd Bologna cycle).
  • Study of copolymer polymerization and preparation of formulations for industrial use.
  • Participation in experimental work at the University of Maribor and the University of Graz (Austria).
  • Analysis of mechanical and corrosion properties of coatings using advanced methods.
  • Active participation in training, workshops, and dissemination of project results.

Requirements:

  • A person who has not yet obtained a PhD or defended a doctoral dissertation and has not resided, worked, or studied in Slovenia for more than 12 months within the 36 months prior to the employment date (expected October 2026).
  • Completed Master’s degree in chemistry, process engineering, chemical engineering, or related programs.
  • Enrolment in doctoral studies at the University of Maribor and Graz University of Technology by October 1, 2026, within the international MSCA DN doctoral program.
  • Excellent English skills (spoken and written) and willingness to learn the local language of the country of employment.
  • Interest in independent research work and working in an international, interdisciplinary environment.
  • Experience in process engineering, synthesis, and testing.
  • Candidate must have excellent academic performance at undergraduate and master’s level, be motivated, hardworking, possess excellent communication skills in English, demonstrate willingness to work in a team, and show flexibility for international mobility.
