Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Professional implementation of development activities.
- Preparation and maintenance of master data.
- Organization and maintenance of prescribed records, statistics, archives, and work documentation.
- Research and development of bio-based polymer resins for coatings within doctoral studies (3rd Bologna cycle).
- Study of copolymer polymerization and preparation of formulations for industrial use.
- Participation in experimental work at the University of Maribor and the University of Graz (Austria).
- Analysis of mechanical and corrosion properties of coatings using advanced methods.
- Active participation in training, workshops, and dissemination of project results.
Requirements:
- A person who has not yet obtained a PhD or defended a doctoral dissertation and has not resided, worked, or studied in Slovenia for more than 12 months within the 36 months prior to the employment date (expected October 2026).
- Completed Master’s degree in chemistry, process engineering, chemical engineering, or related programs.
- Enrolment in doctoral studies at the University of Maribor and Graz University of Technology by October 1, 2026, within the international MSCA DN doctoral program.
- Excellent English skills (spoken and written) and willingness to learn the local language of the country of employment.
- Interest in independent research work and working in an international, interdisciplinary environment.
- Experience in process engineering, synthesis, and testing.
- Candidate must have excellent academic performance at undergraduate and master’s level, be motivated, hardworking, possess excellent communication skills in English, demonstrate willingness to work in a team, and show flexibility for international mobility.
